I repurposed a large wood slab by cutting it into multiple sections to create a 12-foot custom desk and a matching floating shelf. This project focused on sustainable design, structural stability, and clean, modern lines.
From the remaining pieces of the slab, I created additional functional items: a cutting board, two side tables, and a coat rack. This series shows how I maximize material use and transform offcuts into cohesive, useful pieces.
By repainting the legs, varnishing the surface, and adding subtle decals, I restored and updated an older furniture piece—bringing out its character while giving it a refreshed, contemporary look.
